The caller told me my debit card has been frozen and tried to get me to give them my debit card number. They didn't say what company they were from or who they were. I did not give them any number or information on any kind and hung up on them. Everybody beware, these people are pretty slick.

Received a call from this number in my cell phone but didn't answer it. No message was left.

This is definitely a SCAM. First the robo caller indicated that my MasterCard had been locked. I do not own a MasterCard. Two, the called me on a phone line that my bank would never have. Three, MasterCard would not call me and if my bank called, they would indicate the bank name. Four, banks don't usually call for a locked account, you would find out the next time you tried to use the card and then you would call the bank to find out. NEVER give information to someone who calls you. Hang up the phone and call the bank directly. Unless you instigate the call, don't give information, PERIOD.

I just received am automated call from this number on my cell phone saying my credit card had been locked. This is a scam. Do not respond to them.

Automated system for Direct Express card was locked and for me to press one to enter info. These scammers are real professional crooks, they are automatically verifying card numbers and are dropping the scam as quick as one inputs “fake” credit card numbers. This does take connections with the credit card industry to have this ability. If the NSA was doing its “mission” our government could and would put a quick end to this sort of national financial security risk, ask your local terrorist how they fund there local work.

I received a call just now. Said my Direct Express card was locked and for me to press one to enter info. Did not do anything except block that number from calling me. What is Direct Express anyway???

Called me at 230am and now I can't go back to sleep! Didn't answer, but when I checked voicemail it said my MasterCard had been blocked. I tried calling the # back and it rang and said no one was available.

SCAM ALERT!!!

Received a call that my BECU (Boeing Employees Credit Union) debit card was locked, it then asked me to press 1 to unlock it. Then I was prompted to enter my BECU debit card.

The problem of course is that I don't actually have a BECU debit card, so I promptly hung up and reported this scam to EveryCaller!

Called about a lost or stolen card and we just activated new ones last night!! How is it someone can pay for this 888 number and nobody is either going after them or shutting the number down?
