Tried to tell me my credit card was locked fraud
Different scam this time. Person called trying to sell me phyto-plankton supplements. Seemed to know a great deal about me, asking me to confirm name, address, etc, which he had. Seemed aware that I had purchased other nutritional supplements in the past, so I am guessing that my info was sold to these people.by the prior company I had dealt with. Guy was persistent. I hung up on him.
This is a scam trying to steal credit/debit card numbers. Better idea is to cost them lots of money. Call the toll free number back. It will connect, but no one will answer. Leave the phone in front of the tv and let them listen to that in their recording.
A electronic voice recording stating my EECU account had been compromised & locked, funny thing is I don't have a EECU account. More scam artist phishing for personal info.
Called number back, and no one ever came to the phone.
