Just received a call from this number (lady said they were Travelers Insurance but the Caller ID just said Florida) telling me that my husband was a victim of fraud. Yes, that is true in January. I tell her my husband is serving in Iraq and how did she get this info. Prob. from the bank she say and continues to let me know that they have a bunch of lawyers willing to get our money back and prevent further fraud and their company name is Travelers Insurance. I ask her for a call back phone number and she gives me 866-967-8306. She wants me to spend $10.95 shipping to receive the information on the program. At this point I hang up one her. Her name was Karen. I call the 866 number she gives me and a completely different company answers. They are a payment processing company. This girl,Erica, tells me that she has no idea why I was given her number and gives me the number for her corporate office of Internet Law Center 888-514-6020. I spoke with Lena, from corporate and she said she would take to her supervisor, Kila. After I hung up I googled the corporate 888-514-6020 number. And ended up with this site and many others. I also called Travelers Insurance themselves ( A Ligit Company) and spoke with an executive officer. They are concerned that their name is being thrown around also)If they have no contract with "Travelers Insurance" then they are also being harassed by this group. By giving out a number for a company that is not even associated with the original call should constitute fraud in itself? How did this original caller know that my husband was a victim of fraud? That is scary. She even knew what city and state we lived in! We live in Washington State.
