Same number called me (888-554-7484) and offered me help to sell my car with small fee involved. He sounded like scam and recorded machine so never bothered to call.

Same here, recorded message. Jaimie calling .Pretty much knew it was a scam. I remember the same phone call about 4 years ago when I had another car for sale on Craigslist.

I took Jamie up on his word. Do not bother, I had to drive the car to meet him out of state which he was going to pay for which he was then going to resale to a promised buy on the west coast. When i get to the location, Jamie was not Jamie but rather 3 very mean looking men that i decided to turn around and ditch the idea. I told the police in my locale about the situation and was told this was a known scammer with serious criminal ties.

I got the same call. It will be a scam. The car is only worth $5K and is 14 years old. I live on the West Coast. It's not worth anybody's trouble to buy from Toronto.

Jamie called after I posted my car for sale on the Craigslist. Sounds like a recorded message, he offered to help with the sale versus a fee. I never gave a call back, it sounds like a scam for me.

Yes, message from Jamie and then talked to Derrick (around 11 am Dec 28) Told him I was going to checkout his company before committing. Said his company was "Automotive Metrics, which I couldn't find on the net then googled 888 554-7484.

I posted my vehicle on Craigslist. A guy from this number left a message on my answering machine saying he quarantees he can sell my vehicle and there is a small fee involved. Call him by the end of the day. I never bothered to call him back.

Jammie called me and wanted to make the deal of a life time. Offered more money however you have to pay a commission to them. I live at the other end of the country and was asking more that dealership price. Must be a scam or he doesn't know vehicle prices.
