Got a call from an unknown number saying I had 24 hrs to respond otherwise I'd be served papers. Me being a dumb person, gave them all my information. When I couldnt get back in touch with them, I cancelled my bank account information, as well as put a fraud alert on my account. ONLY reason I did it was because it was a valid debt of mine. But after going online and reading about them, I wasnt comfortable. SO I cancelled everything. Didnt hear anything till 9 days after the money was to be debited out. He keeps calling me leaving voicemails saying he will put that I gave him fraudulent debit card information on my credit report (illegal), he refuses to give me a valid mailing address so I can contact them. He claims he sent numerous letters which I never got. I told them if he wants my money, he can send me the company credentials, along with a valid mailing address, along with a copy of the signed credit agreement, and where I can send a money order, because I do not feel comfortable giving them my bank information. He again, called and left a voicemail saying he's not sending anything else (which its my right to obtain these things). He called again, I said if he keeps calling I will notify authorities because this is harassment. CONTACT THE FTC and your LOCAL ATTORNEY GENERAL. I am going to bring a LAWSUIT against this company for their practices. They call from an unknown number saying they are United Courrier, then when you call the 888 number back they are Weisman Harvey and Associates, yet you can hear them leaving the United Courrier voicemails in the background. They are SCAM ARTISTS and I AM GOING TO SUE THEM.
these people are scammers. They started calling my number about a debt my brother allegedly owes (hello we are both adults I'm not responsible for him) and will NOT stop calling no matter what I tell them. I am an attorney and would file suit against them in a New York minute, unfortunately because they are a fly by night companyy there's nothing to collect (asset wise). Do not give them any personal information or trust them in any way. Instead, retaliate as I did: when they call, reach for an air horn and blow them to bits. I have also used Beavis and Butthead apps and other sound bites to futher insult and harass them. Hey at least I can give them a little taste of their own medicine. If they were local, I'd stop by and leave a flaming bag of shit on their doorstep. They are bottom feeders.
http://wisemenharveyandassociates.com/ debt collection agency, no more honest that you'd expect. Other sites say they specialize in trying to collect on debts that are too stale to be legally do-able. The calls for people not at that number are probably calls for someone who previously had such telephone number - I've had problems with my cell phone especially.
Received a recorded msg from United Carriers unknown number stating they had legal papers to serve within 24 hours and to stop it I needed to call their client's number and get a stop order. I researched the number left and found this blog. As I know there are no legal skeletons in our closet I am not returning the call. If they call again I will report them for harrassment.
Received an automated call at 6 p.m., interrupting a quiet evening. The recording said, "Do not hang up, this is not a sales call. Call us back at this number" and recited the number 4 times. I called back immediately and got an answering machine. What IS this?

The caller ID: (716) 989-0830 is a cell phone number. Who makes business like that or treats people like that from a cell phone number if they are supposed to be a professional company. Come on. And the leave a message saying you need to return their call at (888) 644-55-85 Ext. 201 with case number ???? never given. To all people out there. Becareful and DO NOT CONTACT THESE People. Ignore them.
