I also received a call. I had rented a car but returned it with no damage. They tried to submit a claim to my insurance company, but didn’t finalize the complaint or provide any proof. Now they are sending letters from a debt collector. I have contacted Hertz 4 separate times and verified no charges are damage on record. This is so frustrating!

Employees of car rental business are corrupt. I got a call to from 407-671-1175 and asked me to call back on 888-671-1175. I rented a car and gave my credit card to the lady sitting on the desk. As soon as I started driving a got a call from my credit card company that there is some illegal activity on my card and i requested to cancel the card.

I had the same call from someone claiming to be from Dollar - I did return a car on the day they said, a month ago, but no damages, no problem.

I received a call from 407-671-1175 and was asked to call 888-671-1175 because of a damaged Hertz rental from May. They have my cell number but the wrong name. The car was returned in fine condition, and was told so by the attendant

Scam. "Stephanie" left a message on my phone regarding the damage of the rental car I've rented 1 month ago. I didn't damage the car and there was no claim, however there was a mechanical problem that I reported. Hertz may have leaked the paperwork to someone.

called me claiming damage to car I rented wanted my credit card and insurance info, I called hertz directly they did not have any claims against me . this is a scam they have not sent bill in mail wanting credit card and insurance info . please report to hertz official phone number,

received the call and left a voice message stating that the vehicle returned had damages? Never rented a car during the period as they stated. Returned the call and they had the wrong contact name. Told them to remove the number.

Called my business phone for someone in a different department with the same story: David from Hertz claim center, the vehicle that was rented in March 2017 sustained damages, wanted a call back on 888-671-1175 and gave reference claim # 222 017 11404

i got a call from this number too, her name was Sandy, from HERTZ CLAIM DEPT, same thing as above, my vehicle was damaged, but it wasnt me...

SCAM!! Tamisha called me regarding damages that happen to a vehicle that had mechanical issues. Tried calling the 888 number did not work. The claim center is based out of Oklahoma City not Orlando and she could not provide her bosses information.

I received a call from 888-671-1175 stated they were Hertz Claim department and our vehicle had damage when we returned it. They knew the vehicle we rented, but could not tell me my email address. I found it strange that they knew my address, but assumed it was someone at Hertz giving my information. Tamisha was her name...when you call the number back it says Claim center of Orlando.
