Microtec Support helped me in different ways and now my computer is just working absolutely fine....i am glad that i spoke to this people about my computer and got it fixed at the price of peanuts..

I just got a call from this number. they claimed to be microsoft techs wanting to help me fix some horrible problem on my computer that only they can fix. They had me download "showmypcservice" and install it.. and give them control of my computer. I was wise to the guy from the start, but was curious to see what he was up to. He had me look at "eventvwr" for errors and that was supposedly some horrible things that I must not double click on. After he wanted the code numbers to take control of my computer, I hung up.

What are these people attempting to do? Sell software? Infect me with something?

Microsoft NEVER calles your home!! You call them when you have an issue.Microsoft is aware of the scam i spoke to them when they kept calling me about my computer.Now i got a call today and since they know people are on to them because Microsoft never calls your home,they go by Microteck and say they work for Microsoft.Just block the number!!! It's a scam.They have to be in India or they would of got arrested by now.The FBI should get involved!

these Indians claim that your computer is infected and want control over your computer. don't give it to them. its a scam.
