Informed me not to listen to the mesage if it wasn't me.
This is ‘General Revenue Corporation’ calling about about a defaulted federal student loan in our office with a balance of $X,XXX.05.
"The Law does require that I do let you know that this is an attempt to collect on a debt. And all information is used specifically for that purpose.
Please return our call @ 1-888-710-6819 the reference # is XXXXXX. Thank you."

I have now received 3 calls from this number. They are a debt collecting agency according to the message the woman left. It may have been a recording, the messages are all the same. She said she's collecting on a student loan. I have no student loans and never have. People like this contribute greatly to making this world a sh!t hole.

he started in with the call was being recorded. i will not take any call when i am being recorded without my permission. i can only guess it was a collection for who i don't know. i do know it could not be for me. i hung up first but then the number called back and i heard him call me a derogatory name.
