scammer -- make threats that your bank info will be breached in five minutes if you do not give them $160. I turned my computer off the minute they started to do something to it, and was still charged $160

I received the same message on my home computer. It said not to turn the computer off or it would be damaged. So I called the number. They lead me to believe I was talking to Microsoft. Told me they could fix the computer for $313, charged my credit card and the receipt said I had paid for a Viyon platinum digital membership!! The company name now is Viyon Canada Limited. I called them back today and got them to refund half of the charge, but I had to cancel my credit card and get a new one. They may be a legitimate company, but the way they do business is deceitful and dishonest!

Got the same thing as everyone else. Got a pop up last night saying my computer had severe malfunctions. Called the number that they left and they told me I had 3,000 bad files. Connected me to a technician who took 3 hours to fix my computer. Charged me $800 and said I will be protected for 3 years. Find out this morning they are scammers. Called the bank told them not to pay the bill and closed the credit card. Also contacted microsoft and provided them a link to their webstie.

I have used them twice and they have fixed my computer system problem both times (Yes, via remote access).THEY ARE NOT CHEAP. With the American- Canadian dollar exchange, downright brutal. But they are knowledgeable, relatively fast and efficient. The 1 st time I used them was years ago and but for that one time charge , I have never noted any fraudulent type activity in my financial reports or any other evidence of ID fraud. Not to mention that they did exactly what they said they'd do and a 1 year guarantee and free asst with any other issues you may have.. They did however warn me this last time that there was a scam running where the scammers call "impersonating" a Gen tech support guy and to verify ID #s before continuing with call. Anyway. That's been my experience.

These people from Genteh llc , 877-398-2291 are a scam.Said they are connected with Microsoft and could provide all kinds of service and software. After spending $1,100. I had all kinds of problems and could never reach them again either by phone or email. I called Microsoft and they said these people are part of a scam and they sold me nothing.
Luckily my bank recharged the money. Beware of pop ups or phone calls regarding computer service - Microsoft says they are all a scam

Same thing happened to me this morning. It is a scam. Don't call that number. The technician might be related to the company called Gentech because they left a number 1-877-398-2291, linkedd to Gentech
