Received a call from 502 333-9811 last from a woman named Victoria Stevenson sound like she from India could not understand her. She asked for my name told me she was calling on behalf of Aspire Credit card and that I owe 538.14. I told her that I don't even remember having an account from them she stated it was back in 2005 I had good standing with them last payment of 233.38 paid to them. She asked for payment told her I am a student don't work she then kept being rude stating " Are you refusing to pay! " several times. I said no just don't remember having an acct with them. She ask what school I went to and their phone number why I don't know. Then she asked for banking info which I told her don't have a bank acct. Got rude again and stated how are you going to pay?. She gave me po box address and her phone number of 18887540333 with her ext being 62339. Something told me to call the number back first of all why are you calling me with my area code of 502 and how did you get my cell phone who once also belongs to a lady name Shamone Clark which I still receive calls on. Called back got a India guy could not make out the company name asked for Victoria and he didn't even know who she was. So finally I gave him the extension she gave me took forever for her to get on the phone I informed her never received anything from you about this debt so why now if you knew where I lived why nothing in writing sh###t I receive every other bill. I informed her she needs to send me something in writing about the debt so I can have legal aid look at it. She then tells me that it will take 6-7 business days to receive it but once I do payment is due in full. I said yeah right still want legal aid to look. I heard form the news aspire was a company that filed bankruptcy and got sued from class action lawsuit for being deceitful to consumers and longsharking their rates, not to mention closing all their creditholder's account without their knowledge years ago on the news.

There is a way to get some revenge. Use pay phones! Do not use your land line or cell phone. Call them back at their own number: 1-888-754-0373. You'll get a recording. Each time you call, you get your 50 cents back. GUESS WHO GETS CHARGED FOR THE CALL??? You can use the same phone to make multiple calls. As soon as it connects, you get your money back (some phones return your money when you hang up). Put the 50 cents back in and dial the number again, as many times and as often as you like. Imagine if EVERYONE who is being harrassed by these idiots started doing this 10, 15, 20 times a day. There's power in numbers!
