Claimed to be with Best Buy Geek Squad, claiming I should recieve a refund for my IT services recently. Wanted me to fill out personal information on site
called at 5:40PM claiming to be AT&T and that my data usage was extremely high and that suspicious activity has been detected and they are temporarily suspending my account.
Caller: claiming AT&T
This number called stating they are ATT and our accounts were suspended due to suspicious activity. They asked for ss#, birthdate etc etc. We called ATT 800# they said our accounts are ok and this was most probably a Phishing scam...and ATT does not operate that way by asking for personal info. Dont take this call
