I answered but didn't say anything. A female voice recording stated, "Congratulations. As thank you for registering with [something] Caribbean..." CLICK! I hung up and added the number to my call block list. (I never registered with anything Caribbean.) Scammers!

They call my cell everyday but I can't block because the call goes straight to voicemail and doesn't register on iPhone call log.

They call everyday saying I won a free trip if I take a survey.

I have been receiving these bogus "IRS" calls a lot. If you mention that you know they are scammers, they get violent. I have been threatened with bodily harm and rape! I will not go into the details, but they have gotten very descriptive of what they are going to do to me if I don't take them seriously. Go to the IRS website and file a complaint about the scam. Also, file one with the FCC. And, then to stop the calls from coming in from that number, go to the site NoMoRobo.com and you can enter your number there. This site helps eliminate a lot of scam/spam/bogus calls. After your sign up, when these calls attempt to come in, the phone will ring once, maybe twice and then the call will not be received. It has cut down on the junk calls a lot for me. If any calls do get through, you can call the No Mo Robo at 608-371-6666 and give them the phone number and any additional information you may have. This has worked wonders for me.
