Left message saying social security number was in their office. Sounds like scam blocked number.
I just received a call with the same complaint as you all...She didn't leave her name or anything...I will add to the block list
I got a call from David Lewis but it was a local number that popped up. He says he's calling for a debt collector and that they have sent me letters but haven't heard anything from me. The address they were sending these letters to was an address I hadn't been at for almost 6 years. He claims they couldn't find me so now if I don't pay they will sue me. I told him I don't know why they couldn't find me. I've been at the same address for a while and updated it with the post office three years ago. He said they would email me a validation letter and still haven't gotten it. I also asked for a physical copy of the letter and he was hesitant in agreeing to send it out. Earlier he claimed his supervisor says they can't send out a letter but they can email it. I told him I wanted one for my records and asked why I can't have a physical copy vs an email. He claimed it was because they wanted things taken care of ASAP. I told him I wasn't going to do anything until I get that letter. He was reluctant to give me his company's address and the main phone number. I got the info and am still waiting for the validation letter. I looked up the address he gave me in Buffalo, NY but it came up as a place called Storage Central. He told me the business is called Direct Capital. Sounds suspicious to me!
