Multiple calls daily claiming to be from paypal-glad I found out is is a scam

I received two calls from this fraudulent collection Agency. It's a Bogus call that tried to commit identity theft. Don't give them any personal information, account number or Credit Card information it's s SCAM!!

Caller ID shows this number calls several times today 1/26/2021. I answered this same number two weeks ago and was told I owe paypal $4999.99. Wanted me to verify account #. I told the man sinsce he called me, he had that info. Asked me to hold until transferred to another dept. I waited approx.3 minutes and line dropped. Will now block 888-895-5629. Forgot callers name.

it shows up as a different number each time they call claiming to be Paypal. This time it showed 888-895-5629 and they wanted a payment to this email address, compliant@paypal.com, another scam address. When I try calling back to see if it will ring, I get an error message. Next time I will answer "suicide hotline", maybe that will make it stop.

They called, however I didn't answer the call. I found out later that it's a scam.
