Caller said they were from Justice Federal Credit Union. They asked for me to enter zip code.
When I called back it was a computerized system saying I owe a balance on my account. I selected to speak with someone, and a girl answered, and she could not tell me anything because my phone number wasn't coming up in here system. Very weird.
They called about a past due payment and they sound legitimate. They ask for SSN to pull up records but when they asked for correct name spelling, I realized that it was a scam and called the Credit Union directly. I've never been late on my car loan.
Avoid at all costs. Multiple FCC complaints are filed on other sites for identity theft.
They called my mother using her credit union name asking for a call back making it seem like she was a victim of some kind. Duck these people
