Got a call from miss Richardson saying about a complaint for defrauding of financial institution charge. I'm just not comfortable giving personal info. It was from number 888-994-1034 and said they were m&b and associates

i feel like if it was a scam they would be asking for a money order, something not traceable . debit cards go thru banks and that would be risky for someone to do. i paid this company on an overdraft i had. they sent me a paid in full letter the same day. they took what they said they would and nothing else
Are these people real? They said they are going to take my fiancé to court for not paying money but wouldn't tell me where they are located or who they were.
