Ok this is to coincidental got the same call from this number and this Mr Davenport threatened me with arrest and other obscenities. Also they put me hold to act out a scene that they where getting the manager to handle the person in question that was handling my case. But little does he know that In the State of Tennessee it is unlawful for a debt collector threaten a person or present the act of incarceration over a payday loan. So so suing this company and this person will be my next agenda.

Returned Robert Baxter's call today and spoke to Miss Laura Wright instead. Said I owe on a cash advance that was closed out in 2013. The claim is valid, I really do owe on it. Her demeanor was pleasant and non-aggressive, even when she had mentioned how a warrant would go out for my arrest, etc. because it falls under my states deceptive practices law because it is over 500. She was not incorrect. She worked out reasonable payments with me on a lower price than the actual loan. I'm just going to pay off this debt and be done with it.

I see some people had bad experiences with this phone number but because I really did take out a payday loan and did not satisfy repayment, I can't exactly agree that these people are a scam because in my case my debt with them is legit. I did my loan through Cash Advance America and I think if I heard right, the name of the loaning bank was Regent or Regis. Hope this helps some.

I just received a -call from this number I called back and they asked for my husband but couldn't say the last name. They wouldn't talk to me at all. So how do we know for sure this is a scam. Can anyone let me know.

Got a call from this number this morning saying his name was Robert Baxter and said I took a payday loan out in 2013. Which I've never gotten one and they said they were going to charge me with 2 felonys and the cops were coming to get me then. I told them I've never gotten one he was very rude and hung up on me.

Just received a call from this number...left a message saying his name was Robert Baxter, have had spam callers with the exact same message before, block the numbers and be done with them
