Called a place of business looking for someone named Joseph. He left a msg on our voicemail. He was a man w/a heavy middle eastern accent.
He stated the following: Officer Ian Bishop calling from the Federal Crime Investigation. Call me back before something goes wrong with you. 24 hrs, cops will be at your address & employment regarding legal matter. Case will go to county court. Big legal trouble. Call before something goes wrong with you!

So, I decided to call this guy back because it is completely obvious this is some sort of scam. When I get in touch w/him & tell him that he called the wrong #, he says "oh ok honey, no worries honey. I love you" & hangs up. Wtf?!

DEFINITELY A SCAM

keep calling say he's some investigator from some criminal office.

Claiming to work for Federal Bureau and having 3 criminal charges against me, and I had a debt I needed to pay outside of the legal system. Asked what my intent was and I said nothing I did a bk two years ago I am paying on and my attorney will contact your federal bureau deptmart regarding this and I hung up on him.

Called claiming I had a loan taken out under my name and a bunch of bad check crimes. Called me repeatedly until he got an answer.
