I got a call from these people just a day after someone opened a Direct TV install order on my closed account. What is up with these folks? How do we protect ourselves from this type of fraud? I had auto-pay on my account and they won't let me take that information off. If this is the stuff they do, I'm afraid they might tap into my bank account also....UUUUrrrggg!!

Receiving calls from this number multiple times per day and as soon as I answer they hang up! I cancelled my service with DirecTV about a month ago after being a customer for over 15 years - service hasn't changed, but price has more than doubled! Now they are going to harass me? I don't think so!

Still direct TV, I havent been a customer in over an year, and they have called at least six times in 3 days and not left a message once. I picked up this time, and to my surprise I got an automated attendant saying it was direct tv calling with a special promotion... however no representatives are available so the attendant killed the call... 100% harassment.

Just got a call from this number. I didn't recognise it, so I did not pick up. Caller did not leave a message and the caller ID only stated 'Jacksonville' ( as in Jacksonville, Florida ).

When I called, it was Direct TV. I have no interest in cable or satellite TV and my experiences with both Time Warner Cable and Direct TV were beyond mind-numbing. I have told Direct TV repeatedly not to ever contact us again, but we get mail several times a week and occasional calls from them after over a year free of the rascals.

Cable & Satellite TV is dying, so they are probably just desperate?

Direct TV doesn't play well with others and apparently inter-office communications doesn't exist, either.

DirecTV could lower their rates for their actual customers if they didn't spend so much money on phone calls and mail to get me to come back. I obviously did not want them when I quit and quite explicitly told them so when I did. I have internet and a OTA antenna -- all I need to stream what I want to watch at a better price and no contract. I wish they'd leave me alone!!! This is almost harassment.

received call from 904-203-1007 seems to be directv. well just canceled a month ago, was a costumer for 10 years, never changed programs went from 59.00 to 127.00 a month-no changes. hope they never call again

I cancelled my DirecTV service in January because it had gotten too expensive and I had a cheaper cable alternative. Then all the sudden I was a valuable customer and they offered me deep discounts if I would stay with them. They seem to care more about new customers than satisfying the loyal customers they already have. And now they won't let me go. They are like a dog with a bone. I'm blocking this number from getting through to me again.

They continue to call even though I explained to them why I won't go back to them, I say hello just once and hang up when they don't answer ,when they do answer after one hello they apologize, but it will happen again they won't quit
