Ray, w/"FL POLICE OFFICERS FOUNDATION", called me on 7/5/17 at 2:33PM. Call from (386) 457-1939. He asked for a donation of $50+. Money would be used to help any officer and their family who needed financial help after officer was injured or killed. I said I would donate $15.
I was transferred to a woman who took my name and address to send donation information. THEY WOULD ONLY ACCEPT MY PERSONAL CHECK or MONEY ORDER. I felt this was not above board, I just wanted physical evidence, just in case these thieves get caught.

Just called my number. I excepted the call, Only to hang up. Call only lasted at 00:00:01... Now I just added the number to " Add to reject list " So at lease now when they call. My cell will not ring.

Doesn't leave a message but is apparently, according to other people, a front for a fake charity scam.
