I didn't catch the woman's name but she said she was calling from the IRS investigative department and I needed to file sone paperwork and my new address to their department. Told her flat out there's no such type of paperwork because I was looking online for it and if her department needed it, my address is already file when I filed my taxes last year. She also had an old address from 2 addresses ago. She even threatened to send paperwork to the police and have me arrested. I basically told her to go ahead because the city of that address she has on file has no jurisdiction to arrest me for items that were never sent me in the mail from the IRS and when I live in a different state before I hung up. She really was trying to argue with me, too.

Yes...I received a bogus call from these fake I.R.S. scammers today (1-20-2016)...a female caller with a foreign accent, sounded like she was from one of the Caribbean islands...she went by the name "Megan Tan" (at least...that's what the name sounded like), she sounded Jamaican or possibly Haitian. Anyway, I am in the process of editing a video recording of her call from my cell phone and I am going to post it on my YouTube channel in the next couple of days. No one likes the Internal Revenue Service...but they also do not operate this way. Pay attention people. And NEVER give ANY caller ANY of your personal information including credit card information, bank routing numbers, social security numbers, drivers license numbers etc.! If the I.R.S. has a beef with you...you will receive a very recognizable letter in the mail before they EVER call you. This is the phone number they told me to call back on: 904-302-7352

thanks for the notice, i been getting calls from this apammer also.. so annoying!!!

SPAM- impersonating the IRS and tell you you'll be arrested for tax evasion.
