Same message as all the others - Identified himself as Steve Martin from the U.S. Treasury Dept. and said I must contact him or risk legal action and arrest. Called twice in a short period of time. I called back but was disconnected.

A guy called saying his name was Steve Martin with the IRS and that I needed to call him back right away. If I didn't, my case would be turned over to a court and judge. I called the number back and asked for Steve Martin. The man who answered said he was the lead counsel for the firm. He confirmed my name and asked who filed my 2012 taxes? He asked if they had been done by a CPA. I told him that without proper verification as to his authority, I couldn't give him that information. He told me that there was a warrant out for my arrest and ask for the information again. I told him I could not give that too him with out being able to identify him and he told me he would send his agents over to arrest me and that they would show me his identification! I said ok.

Received the same call, giving the same information, today. He called three times in about a two hour period. I, too, called back and he hung up on me.

I got the same call today. He left message stating he was Steve Martin from the US Treasury and that I must call back or it will be considered for a judge/grand jury.

Stating they are from the US Treasury and that you must call back or it will be considered an attempt a judge/grand jury etc. When you call back and respond, they hang up on you. I called back & said that I was contacting my lawyer and having them reported to Federal Authorities as I believe this to be a scam.
