Received yet another call from a Financial Crime Division in Florida. These people are in the business of harassing and not trying to peacefully resolve an issue. I did in the past take out a payday loan (learned my lession) and will never do so again. Ever since then I have had to file bankruptcy and I have gotten phone calls ever since 2005. The only thing they want is for you to agree to anything they tell you, they have no information according to them as to who the original loan was with, they will not send anything in writing, i have given them my new address and telephone number. I get all the inforamation they will give me before they catch on, I then tell them I am reporting them to the FTC and either they send me in writing what they claim I owe and copies of whatever papers they have. I never get papers sent to my home, once you start questioning them they usually will hang up. Do Not let these people frazzle you, they are in the intimidation business because any legitimate collection agency would not conduct business this way and it would be resolved long before this. They also claim they are federal charges, bank theft, fraud, etc. The last time I checked this would fall under the category civil cases not federal.
