Fake IRS scam, false threats about lawsuits and warrant demanding money. Popular scam apparently watch out
I got the same story. Phone call from IRS Dept n they ask to tranfer money $5997 to Bryan Diaz(attorney) to solve the problem. If not I will arrest within 2hours
yes just got a call about the same thing,,,Police please help with these people b/c it sounded like a type of call center
i just got a call from this number as well. the gentleman was very abrasive insisting i was going to be arrested within 2-hours if i didn't work with him. i told him this is the United States of America, I've done nothing wrong, send the police...then i hung up the phone. i called the police just for good measure, they told me it is absolutely a SCAM, the IRS does not call people.
SCAM!!! I just got a voice message from this number from a "William Johnson", claiming he was an officer of the IRS federal investigation office! I called the number back, and "Stacy Henderson" said officer Johnson would be calling me right back and to answer the phone.
The phone rang from 213-217-9999 and William Johnson said he had a warrant for my arrest for IRS tax evasion and why hadn't I responded to the "documentations" sent to my address. I asked what address, and he replied with my city, state, and zip. I told him this was a scam and he said he "would see my in the courthouse"!? BEWARE.
