Why wouldn't a staffing company leave a VM? doesn't make sense imo...

Got a call from this number from a guy that said his name was Lorraine and I couldn't understand the company's name/ The written test said BB on Corporation. They said they were sending me an e-mail with a description of the job but I never got one. I am getting alot of scam calls like this.
Staffing Agency that doesn't answer the phone professionally, nor do they leave VM. Shady!!
