Message offering lowering credit card rates. They warn that "this is your last chance to lower rates. Press 1 to talk to operator." When I clicked 1 and asked operator who they were, they terminated call. I called back the same number, a recording saying that number is not in service.

The call said my eligibility for discount interest rates due to the federal government lowering interest rates was a available and to talk to one of their representatives before my eligibility expired. I receive calls from random area codes from this same company about 3-4 times a month.

Lower credit card rates. Press ONE to talk to someone LIVE. I pressed one, asked how he got my #. He said from Equifax. I said take me off your list. He said how much credit do I have on my cards.. I said 0. I said Take me off your list- he hung up the phone.
