Claims to be calling in regards to your credit card, and then advertises re-financing services, press 1 to talk to an operator. I pressed 1. When I told operator I am on do not call list, she hung up.

I think they're actually using the do not call list as a list of calls to make. I'm getting calls on my home and cell numbers within minutes of each other. Where else would they see these two numbers with completely different exchanges listed next to each other, other than where I listed them both on the DNC list? Doesn't get much more illegal than that but the gov't doesn't care. Plus, why would you try to solicit a bunch of people that have already made it known in advance that they want nothing to do with your call? You better have the cure for cancer if you're going to call me, not a credit scam...

Credit card agency. I dialed the prompt of "1" to speak with an agent and asked to be removed from their database. The man hung up.

Said they could reduce all my credit cards to 6%. I have received previous messages, and they always hang up immediately when I try to tell them to quit calling me. My phone was formerly a business phone, but I closed the business 2 years ago. I registered my number on Do Not Call about 8 months ago, and again earlier this month.

recording stated they were calling about my credit card. they said the account did not have a problem. they wanted me to press one to talk to an operator about lowering my credit card rate. when I attempted to call the number back to complain, I received a recording which stated "Mike Anderson's mailbox was full. Please call back later." I have received a call from this spammer each month for the past five months. I want them to stop.

The message is about lowering credit card interest or payments. I have received 100's of these calls, and I just hang up when I recognize the pitch.

Got a phone call from a number that I don't "know" or recognize.
I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.
They left no message.

I am on the National Do-Not-Call List,
and have been for over a year now.
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)

I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
AND to

https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
and see if that can get the government
to work for me, and stop these calls.
(Yes I will go through all those steps.)

Next time you get an unsolicited call, answer the call and what ever they say act like you are really interested. Do not give them any personal information, but lead them on. When they start to get irritated or start pushing hard for personal information then you ask them.... How does it feel? And when they say what? Tell them you are not interested in anything he has to peddle, you just wanted to waste his time, the same way they are wasting your time by calling your cell phone.
