Just got hit up today by this guy for my business by text message. I open it, lo and behold, he's texted before. TWO YEARS AGO in Jan 2021. I still have the convo (delete nothing - for times like this). I operate a business related to watersports but not jet skis, and not anywhere near CA. Not sure who is in the picture. Certainly isn't an Asian guy. I'd reverse search the image but I don't care enough. Obviously a serial spammer.

I am an actor and he wrote to me about stunt mam so I thought it was a stunt coordinator. Than he went into waterworks and jet skis. And asked if I wanna see his jetskii I didn't reply after. Here I thought it was a stunt coordinator. But that's so weird he had my full name and that I do stunts

Eric's text to people with water sport items for sale on CL continues. Asked me my name and other unrelated personal questions. Clearly wasn't a serious buyer so I blocked his number. Upon reading this thread he's been doing this for many years.

He messaged me too about my Craigslist ad for my ski. He is 100% harmless. He has a mental disability and just wants to have friends. Very nice guy.

He messaged me saying I have the coolest Kawasaki. Telling me if we can be buddies since we like water sports. He wasn’t interested in my Jetski but rather seem lonely and looking for friendship. He send pics of jetskis and him. I would say he is harmless but could waste your time with random nonsense questions. He is white and Chinese and claims he lives in Cali. I think he has a mental condition

It is not a scam. I was bored and text him back. From what I can tell he is mentally handicapped. He’s a nice guy just looking for friends. No threat. Don’t be mean. Just be nice and move on.

Same thing here, had a trailer on cl and he just kept asking about jetskiing, and if my trailer was the coolest. Super weird. sounds like he has too much time on his hands

Eric texted my cell after seeing my seadoo on Craigslist. Told me his name and sent me a photo of my boat. Then asked if I have the "coolest" boat and if I enjoy jet skiing/some other weird garbage. Clearly wasn't interested in purchasing.
