the text message reads "your entry last month has won! go to Bestbuycontest.com and enter your winning code 7362 to claim your FREE $1000 BestBuy gift card within 24 hours." I have gotten this same text message multiple times over the past year. I usually just delete it but I thought I would report it this time because it is getting annoying. It appears to be promoting Best Buy but I am almost positive it isn't based on googling the number and people saying it is a scam.

The text message says, "Your entry last month has WON! Go to BestBuyWin.net and enter your winning code 5555 to claim your FREE $1000 BestBuy gift card within 24 hours." Although I have purchased things from Best Buy and have a rewards card with them, I did not enter any drawings and I know that this is not the typical way of notifying a consumer of something that has been won.

text from best buy that i won a gift card. happened 2 be at best buy at the time so i asked. they wouldnt send a text it would be an email if u won a gift card drawing with instructions to claim prize in person at a store.
