A spam caller, apparently. They have called my cell phone repeatedly without leaving a message. Caller ID says only "Savannah, GA".

This is South University. They will call from many different numbers, not leave a message. If you have a college aged student, this might be happening to you from University of Phoenix and Kaplan. All of a sudden once my daughter began college this Fall, I have been getting over 10 calls a day from online schools with a different phone number each time. I keep calling them back. The only thing that seems to be working is telling them she is a minor. Otherwise, they state they have to speak to my daughter to have my phone number removed from the list.

Yesterday, I was so fed up that I continually called them back and hanging up. Finally, they stopped calling me.

Also, they will state that you signed up for info from their school. I tell them NO and someone obviously sold our information to them; as we would never be interested in their school.

Job boards do if you click "yes". College age children? I got the calls 6 yrs ago as a 50 yr old widower (now disabled & unemployed) living alone at the time. Took them up on it, enrolled online & at the time demographically didn't qualify while on a janitor's salary believe it or not for any FAFSA financial aid except those student loans, which over the years weren't enough to cover all the tuition. Earned online my Bachelors (which they're holding for ransom), but incurred 60+K in student loans plus 10+ K in out of pocket tuition debt that I can't pay to the school itself, which is an accredited major university. Like good telemarketers, their recruiters look for brains to enroll & can be as persistant as bill collectors (which in my case the # is used for both) & is why I reverse ID all unknown numbers anyway). I was hoping to teach my grandchildren (who are in HS) by example the value of a college educationat but it's becoming an example of "don't do as I did" instead at any age if you can't afford it & can't find a job afterwards. The online education is good & legit & the school accredited, but can be extremely pricey, so take my advice that I learned from personal experience. Make sure that beforehand or before you get in over your head that you qualify for grants, scholarships or other aid than just Gov. backed student loans. If you can't afford it, UNENROLL IMMEDIATELY because they WILL give more than ample rope (student loan debt) to hang yourself with (just a cliche).

I have been called 9 times in the past few days by this number. So far I have not picked up, but I think next time I am going to. I don't know how they got my cell but it is getting really annoying...
