called my work phones, both desk and cellular! yesterday left a VM on my cell telling me "..Thank you for calling, if your vehicle has less than ?xx? miles, please press 3, now..."
I didn't call, so how many folks think, this is real and are stupid enough to press 3????

Received call from this asshole. It is a scam auto warranty. I get several each week. Wish I knew how to stop them. The "Do Not Call" registry does not seem to work. Added to a hundred others on blocked list.

Tell them to send the information to you in the mail. Then you can get their name and address. Then send them a registered letter that your address and phone number is to be removed from their list. In the letter, tell them if they continue to call or solicit you that they are harassing them and you will file a law suit, report them to the better business bureau and to the national do not call list as a violator. You will also sue if you find that they have sold your contact information to anyone. This is what I have done. After filing on one in Kansas City with the Better Business Bureau, they stopped all harassment. They had been calling me three times a week on a car that I did not have and then they tried to sell me warranty on a car that was brand new. They are idiots. Unfortunately, they get people to sign up. My mother has alzheimers and one in New Jersey got her to sign up on a car she no longer had that was sold after my dad passed away. After I took over her bills, I saw the monthly charge on her Discover and finally sent them a registered letter that I would sue if they didn't stop billing her. I also told Discover that they had been told in writing to stop billing and instructed them to no longer honor the charges. All of my strategies above worked. The only problem is you have to listen to their spill or recording and act as if you are interested to get them to send you something so that you can obtain their company name and address.

Same as everyone else, these are the car warranty scammers. The stupid post office sold my new address, now those pieces of garbage have my address and somehow got my phone number as well. Cant even trust the postal service, they sell you out just like any other corporation. I wish I could sue for privacy violation.

This is good thing if you are getting mail. You now have their name and address. You can report them to the Better Business Bureau in their town and you can provide the info to the National Do Not Call list as a violator. You can also send them a certified letter to remove your address and phone number from their list and from any list in which they are selling your information. If they continue to do so it is harassment. Then you can sue them. Believe me - I've done all of the above and they stopped calling me. Good luck!

I just got a call from some number in Georgia I answered and heard the guy say "'s Michael... THANK YOU FOR CALLING IN YOUR CAR HAS LESS THAN 100K MI PRESS 1 OR PRESS 7 TO BE PLACED ON OUR DO NOT CALL LIST"
I didn't say or press anything. The he repeated it as if it was a recording but clearly it wasnt.
I put it on speaker and then muted my end. He repeated himself 2 more times than said "ok"and hung up.

Some BS about my car's warrenty expiring. The thing is, 92 models wouldn't have a warrenty in 2016 anyway.

Don't be fooled into pressing any numbers to be put on a DO NOT CALL list. All your doing is proving you're a live call. Just ignore these calls.

Called my home phone yesterday & left a message. Message started out saying "Thank you for calling......". I have never called that number. The message proceeded to say "if you vehicle has less than xxx,xxx miles"
so they are trying to sell an extended warranty.
