I got a call from the same number, told me to call them back, or the local "cops" would be to my home to pick me up.

Yes they called me to.Same crap as everybody here stated.If I don't get back to them in 24hrs the local cops will arrest me.

Just received a phone message from this 914-373-7168, robo stating if I don't call back from IRS. I have 24 working hours to call back to discuss. If not, local cops will arrest me. Allegations against me. Scam call.

I was called and told I have 4 serious allegations against me to call them back. I also received a call from the same # the day before telling me I owe the IRS money, which I do not.

This idiot doesn't even speak English but stated he was calling from the investigation department of IRS. I told him he was on a recorded line and he hung up on me

Same as everyone else above. Incredibly terrible language skills. Who would say "local cops" will arrest you. I called them and it sounded like one of those call centers in the background for telemarketers. Amazing. Shut this number down.

I have also had the same call that i have 4charges pressed against me n all that and i will be arrested if i dont call back. Something like that. Thankfully i remembered what momma told me the irs will never ever call you they willsend you something in the mail if its real. What a big fat scam dont these people know what to do with there lives

Got a recorded message and this is what it said......
A notification regarding your tax filings from the headquarters which will get expired in the next 24 working hours and once it get expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local cops as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. Called claiming to be IRS, said I had 4 outstanding counts against me from 2010-2015. If I don't pay almost $5,000 within 24 hours I will be arrested and held for 6 months.
