Portfolio recovery. When I told them not to call my number, they asked for a number they could call. I told them they couldn't call any number.

THIS COMPANY JUSTED CALLED ME ON MY CELL PHONE AND RELASED PERSON INFO ON SOMEONE WITH OUT FINDING OUT IF THEY HAVE THE RIGHT PERSON OR NOT IF ANYONE GET CALLS FROM THEM REPORT THEM TO THE BBB AND GET THEM CLOSED DOWN......

They call all the time at least 50 times a day. Now they also call my sisters house in another state and they also call her in-laws trying to find me and tell them I owe money. I don't even think that is legal. Don't understand how they can use so many different phone numbers and get away with this crap.

This company uses this area code from New York, NY, it is just one of the many, many area codes that they use to make it seem like it is different companies calling.

Having the same problem with Portfolio Recovery trying to settle a debt I already paid AND they have been calling my parent's house as well. I talked to one guy and he didn't even let me talk! Finally was able to tell them that I don't live with my 80 year old parents and if they call them again I'll get an attorney and fry their a**. Jerks.
