Unfortunately the called the wrong person. My home.

I 'happen' to be with the IRS and also one of the attorneys that just happens to deal with unpaid back tax accounts. I called them back and let them know that they are in a peck of trouble as I do have the direct line to 1. the IRS, 2. HomeLand Security, 3. F.B.I. and the District Attorney for each state (direct telephone numbers.)

When they heard who I was they hung up real fast and now the phone line is busy.

I am still going to have them investigated because its a federal crime with prison time for impersonating a federal officer.

Now lets see if their little scam with this number continues?

Why cant we track down these crooks.

Called me this morning, asked me to verify my name and said I was being sued by IRS. Said he sent paperwork to me and I asked him to verify address, WRONG! I said I'm pretty sure you are not american William James with a heavy Indian accent and I am not giving you anything, he said mam I will be forced to call the cops, I said I am happy to call them for you as it will take them awhile to arrive from New York, where the IRS does not have offices...

They call my wife, so I called back..his name was Mike brown but he sounded middle eastern. I told him I have 25,000 to pay now in a arab voice. & he told me go f... a goat, lol.

IRS twice today... called back and told em "I'm FBI Bitch!"

2 identical messages were left on my cell phone today, the same as a previous commenters experience "for more information on this case file, to call the department immediately at 941-595-5441"

Got the same call twice today. Claiming I am being sued by the IRS and I had better call as this is my last warning. Im single and broke, sue me. lol. Isn't this illegal for robocalls to be calling cellphones?

Called at 8:29am and 3:49pm recording message claiming from IRS.
There should be a law with this.

Got a series of them with escalating threats. Last one said it is my final warning. Hope that is the case.

Yep I have been receiving the same call all day!

Also, I want to let everyone who is worried know, if in fact a lawsuit is filed against you, they do not call you. You would receive mounds of paperwork before ANY type of calling occurs.

I just called them and it was a guy from India. LOL. "IRS" I said " You are not the IRS stop calling my phone number!" Then he said something I didn't understand and I told him " Don't be weird." I say we all call the number and just be really annoying. HAHAHA :))

Same here. Called saying I'm being sued, and when I called back just got hung up on. Freaking jokers didn't even have my real name. The guy didn't even speak english. Get this guy outta my country freaking scammer scumbag.

Left a message that was halfway through a recorded voice stating that ..."for more information on this case file, to call the department immediately at 941-595-5441" Seems like a scam
