Had a woman with a thick Indian accent call me "about my computer" from this number. Her accent was so thick I couldn't understand her. Asked her to transfer me to someone who could speak clearer, then I proceeded to mess with them... they said they were calling about my computer, so I asked "which one?" Threw them for a loop. They asked how many I had, so I said "10. Can you provide the IP address that you are referring to?" Some commotion in the background, then they disconnected. Do people still fall for this?

They stated they are from windows and have received email errors from my computer. When asked if they could tell me the IP address of my computer that sent the error messages he got upset and switched calls but did not hang up.

They called my husband's phone # and asked for him by name (probably attained from his business website). Stated that someone from his Co. had called him...scammer was acting like a computer repair Co.). He didn't get any further than this with us. We hung up on the East Indian jerk.

Caller says he was calling from MS about a computer issue. It was obviously a scam. I told him so and hung up.

I ignored it. If I don't get a message- it's typically a scam. Let unknown numbers go to voicemail. Avoid all scams unless you know the number.

A South Asian Indian voice answered and was calling about my computer. I've had these calls multiple times through the years ever since I was scammed by a Mumbai (Bombay) outfit who said they worked for Microsoft and that my computer needed work. This time I lost it and said ".... ...!" and hung up.
