Now claiming to be from the IRS. I'm being sued or looking at jail time.
Speaks broken English. Got a similar call last month from a New York
Number. Sounds like same guy. Phone check states this is Garcinia
Cambojia is the name from Sacramento CA.

Middle eastern accent guy calls and knows my wife's name, and says she applied for a loan. Some stories around the web are parroting the same scam, where a payday loan or a bounced check "happened".

I called the guy an ahole cause he woke me up before 7am, so he got mouthy back. It's kind of funny to insult these guys. It keeps them on the phone longer.

Callback number is a disconnected pager.

916-282-6934 call from man with hard to understand foreign accent. said he was w/Microsoft and satellite was sending signals that my p/c has a problem. no matter what I said he talked over me. rude. Ava's experience was exactly mine. The very foreign sounding man wanted access to my systems, claiming he was a MS Windows representative that had knowledge that my computers on a given internet access all had a virus that he could correct. When asked he said that he was from Microsoft. When I asked why I couldn't just go to the MS website and download a fix, he hung up.

For what its worth, my three computers that this fellow said he knew about all were infected with the "Snap.do" browser/search-override virus prior to the first call from 916-282-6934.
