how do we stop this twice a day for a year....... tryed everything

I also recieved this kind of phone call. They left a message and told me to call 661-270-6408 and speak with Investagator Stanely McCoy. Guys with heavy accents stating there from some kind of federal crime investigations out of california. They also wanted info on my attorney and myself to forward informaion about a payday loan that I owed money on. They had also threatened me with extortion and 30 days behind bars. This has happened to me a few months back as well. I had told them I had contacted the police the first time this happened and they said "ok and that they will pass it on the the local police." I was like whatever and contacted MY local sherriff department. I dont even LIVE in california! My next call is to the FTC!

I got a phone call (at work) from an Indian man named Nash Brown from JWC law firm in California. He told me that I took out a payday loan from American Payday and it did not get repaid. They are charging me with 3 counts of check fraud and there is a court date on Monday. I didnt know about any of this If I didnt show up, they were taking me to jail. I immediatley told the caller that I never took out a payday loan from American Payday, and he read me my bank account number that the funds were distributed to and my SSN. I asked him when this was and he said 6-7 months ago. He could not give me an exact date so I started to question him. When I asked him if this was a scam he got very offended and said that if I didnt pay, I would go to jail, and face up to $15,000 in court costs. While on the phone I was at my computer and started looking up the number he called from on this site. I told him that I would have to get back to him and told him I will contact my attorney. They called me 4 more times afterwards on my cell phone. I have contacted the California Privacy Bureau, The FTC and I will be calling my local attorney general's office today. Needless to say, that call left me in hysterics. Is there anything we can do to shut them down?

COME TO MY HOUSE AND PICK ME UP AND WE CAN GO STRAIGHT TO THE COURTROOM. HE SAID " I COMING TO PICK YOU UP AND HAVE YOU ARRESTED" ROFL. I JUST WHATEVER BRO ILL BE WAITING. BUT SERIOUSLY I JUST WANNA KNOW WHERE THEYRE OFFICE IS LOCATED SO I CAN GO OVER THERE AND WHOOP ON SOME INDIAN A$$.

These criminals have been calling me and my husband days and nights. They are driving me crazy to a point that I'll do anything to stop these harassment. I've found a post from this website in which the poster has some brilliant ideas to beat them in their own game. They use cheap indian monkeys to call us and we'll "ask" the general public in US to "stop" them. I wonder what will happen if I post a ads in Craiglist about giving away free big screen TV or video game with their return numbers (not the fake caller ID number!)

I received multiple phone messages on my business phone from both a female and a male with identical scripts in very broken english with thick, almost unintelligble accents.

I wasn't born yesterday--and because these people are scam artists AND irritating me when I have real work to get done--I took a few moments out of my day to screw with them.

First, I called them back and asked them if they needed directions to the memorial service or the funeral showing. The male on the other end said "I do not understand what you saying" (very broken english, thick accent). I then asked, "Sir, what exactly was your relationship with the deceased? Because the memorial is open to everyone, but the viewing of the body is for family only." He started in with "you must relay a legal message to XXXXX XXXXXX" (my name X'd out for privacy purposes). I told him that would be very difficult, considering XXXXX XXXXXX passed away six days ago, and my job was just to direct people on how to get to the memorial service. He stuttered a bit, then said "sorry to bother you" and hung up.
