I was called an hour ago, about 6:30 pm, It's a voice recording. The IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.....

Said they were from the IRS and they filed a court order against me because I owe back taxes. They asked when they could expect payment. I told them they could expect it whenever they want cause we will be both suprised when they get it... its a total SCAM... I played along for at least 5min. Then laughed at them...they were so mad they hung up...lol

Calling saying they are the IRS and there is a lawsuit out on me. I tried to call back, a recording said the person can not take calls at this time. Annoying!

i just received the same call ...it was so annoying. scary but as soon as i told them to verify my information they got defensive and hung up

A friend just got one of these scam calls ... from someone who sounded Asian, whose "name" was Grace Parker, badge #99987. She was trying to shake my friend down for $75,000. She claimed that the Sheriff was about to come to the door to arrest my friend, that she should not leave her home for two hours or she would be suspected of evading police.

Friend said that there was a din in the background as if others were making similar calls.

Is anyone doing anything about this?

Said they were from the Intermal revenue service and that I owed taxes

Same thing happened to my mom. They had the same message. I called them and they said I owed back taxes.

Latest number used by the "IRS is about to sue you' scam. The called at 7:30 AM. Really tired of this.
