Constantly calls and leaves blank voicemails.

Stop calling me

They called my phone and said they they were responding to my call for assistance with my computer. I asked them what computer? and they hung up.

My elderly friend got a call from this number and the caller claimed to be from Google. They asked to remote into her computer and she let them :(
Shortly thereafter they told her that her computer had a number of things wrong with it and asked for $150.00 to repair it...Fortunately *I* am the only one she lets fix her computer so she told them she would need to check with me and that ended the conversation.
I'm now afraid that the caller installed spyware OR WORSE on her computer and told her to shut down until I can come scan it with several of my cleaning tools.
I'll report back here as to my findings.

They called at 7am asking me for a "yes" on if I was the name they called. They repeated that it is in regards to a personal banking matter.

When I said, where are you calling from and do you know it is 7 o'clock in the morning here, they hung up. This is SPAM. I have blocked their number and advise you do the same.
