They called and I refused because I have police officers in my family and have NEVER heard of these people. I called back and asked them to remove my # from their list and asked why because we are on the DO NOT CALL. Apparently charities do not apply and they are allowed to call up to 9 PM.

Hang up when they get the answering machine.

Diana from AFPO, a charity for Police Officers. Left no message so I called back. She addressed me by my name and explained why she was calling. To "ax", not ask, for a donation. I called her bluff and told her since she had my name & # to send me information about this cause & I would look it over. She then said Thank you and hung up. Blah, blah, blah.
