Just received a phone call from Yext Rep. Informed me that I had signed up for their ''Search engine verification services" last year and that it was time to renew. I informed the caller that I did not have their service, did not require their service and would not pay for their service. The rep then said that my credit card number was given to them yesterday and could I verify it. I told the rep that I did not have a credit card.
He then said ''Oh must be your bank debit card then" and asked that number be verified with him. I informed the rep that I was going to start recording the phone call and he immediately hung up. I feel for those who don't know better and fall for this SCAM.
Bill/Phil said I reached out to him. SPAM!!
Got a unsolicited call from Jeff, he insisted in letting him know what I was trying to do with my web page, so I did (Obviously SEO) and he offered me his services. I told him I can do some of it myself and expressed my concerns when companies like YEXT became "exclusive" when you want to claim your business in certain Search Engines, forcing people to paid YEXT. He keep insisting to use his services and I said that I will do it myself and if I can't I will call them and he replied "Don't call me" and hang up the phone on me!!! What a costumer service!!!!
