i got the same call twice .
Automated call claiming they've received a legal petition notice for tax fraud against me, call 917-688-4211 before it goes to federal court or I get arrested.
i got a call from the same number told me i was gonna be arrested and i owed money, guess what i dont owe a dime never have,so yup they called me too
Automated call from woman identifying herself as "Officer Judy Smith" from the Department of Treasury. I got the same message concerning tax fraud, final notice, arrest, blah, blah, etc. I know this is a scam, as I received the same "final notice" message (left by a man) several months ago.
The IRS does not contact people this way. They send an actual paper letter through snail mail.
I got the same call this morning stating: "... this call is official final notice from United States treasury the nature and the purpose of this call is to inform you that we have received a legal petition notice concerning the tax fraud against you still before the matter goes to the federal claims court house or before you get arrested, Please call immediately on our hotline division number that is 917-688-4211 make sure you call us as soon as possible."
I called back and the man with accent told me Federal Agents were on their way to my house with a warrant for my arrest.
