This man called us to and stated we could get a 5000 loan of we just wired him 100 dollars through money pac at Walmart and he would send the funds. We did and then he said he made a mistake and that our credit was to low and that we had to send him 200 more dollors to raise our credit score. We did not send anymore money and confronted him about being a scam and he hung up. This man said his name was Derrick jones and it was with easy cash usa in Chicago.

100% scam. I got the guy to admit that they are pulling scam on American's. They get about 10 people a day to get scammed. He asked me if I wanted to help them..LOL

didnt get a call from this number. I received an email. The subject line said "from Mark Turner to you". It states it is from US Atty office in NY saying I owe 589. on a pdl. I dont owe any money to a loan. And then it gfives all the facst of the Fair Debt and Collection Act and Consumer Alerts. The Attorney name at signature is a Derrick Jones and the address is 505 Park Avenue NY NY 10022. Then it has the phone number also at the bottom (917)829-3002. This email just didnt seem right. I didnt want to call the number so I investigated and there is no Derrick Jones atty, the address doesnt have this atty there and the number was no connection to the area.

This company has a guy saying his name is DEREK JONES and that the company is First Law Attornies Office. He's called my employer and left messages for me here. Ive googled the number and this number goes to scammers!!!! Watch out!!!!
