Claimed to be my credit card company on a recorded message. This call was my last chance to lower my rate. I was to press 1 to talk to a rep. Previous calls with the same claim, of which there have been dozens over the past year, and which come from many numbers, including what my caller ID says is a cell phone. Occassionally there will be a prompt to touch "3" to opt out, but all that happens is that the phone goes dead. When I touch "1" and get a rep, when I express a desire to quit be bothered, they immediately hang up.

Lower My interest rate on a credit card

These hot dogs claim they will lower your interest rates. The only call them selves Consumer Services. Then they have the gall to ask me for the last for of my social security number. I refused. The caller has an international accent, perhaps India or
Pakistan and this roach keeps asking "Why don't you want to lower your credit card rates"
I wish I could enforce the Do not call list upon these roaches, I'm tired of calls of this character interrupting my day.

Real American Citizens can stop these calls. To celebrate our Independence, beginning in July, we should forward all calls from these unwanted telemarketers like this one from 918-213-3105 to our Congressmen and Senators. If everyone in America forwards these unwanted telemarketer calls for a week, including charity and political fund raising calls, politicians would eventually get the message!

There are 535 elected officials in DC who work for us. There are over 300 million American citizens, and over 50 million of us are eligible to vote (although some are too dumb to vote, but they do anyway). If you are an intelligent American voter, use your phone to forward unwanted calls to your Congressman or Congresswoman or Senator. This will send a message to our employees!

Do the math. When politicians have their phonelines tied up by 8 telemarketer calls per week that are forwarded by 25 million American Citizens - for just one week - that's 1.4 billion calls. Do you think they'll get the message when they can't keep their lines opened for political campaigning? Take back America by "sharing reality" with those who work for us. You can also use the White House main number if your congressmen or senators have unlisted numbers.

Claimed the company name is Consumer Services. They violate the do not call list and the law against robo-calls without your written permission. The man told me he was in Atlanta, GA. That's all I could get out of him. This is a credit card scam. They will charge you $1,000- to write a letter to your credit card company asking them to lower your interest rate.
