Message stated to push 1 to find out how to lower my credit card rate, I selected 1 and when someone answered I asked what credit card they were calling from and they hung up

These are scam artists and use the pretense of "lowering your interest rate" on your credit cards. This is only 1 number of about 30 or 40 I have received. A ROBO call that is now against the law. Dont fall for it.

Calls multiple times recording asking if i want to lower my credit card interest, i press 1 to talk to a human and it puts me through to a human and I play along saying yes i have debt yes i want to lower my credit card interest then i say funny story i dont even have a credit card and today she called me a loser and hung up. Usually they just hang up.

nuisance caller, calls repeatedly. recorded message. calls from multiple area codes. can be rude and offensive in nature at times. if they are threatened they will stop calling! So it is suggested to threaten them from the start if you want them to quite calling you. You will need to speak to them in order to threaten them. do not give them your real name! as they are not giving you their real names either, or their locations because they do not want you to contact them via there local police departments. Call the Attorney Generals office of the state which is listed on the caller ID if you want to give them a real jolt. There company name is good to give to the attorney generals office also along with there phone number listed. They will most likely not want to give you this information and will hang up when you ask them. They call from untractable prepaid cellular phones which are great for criminals to use.
