Scam Caution: Received a call from this number and, considering I have a $0.00 balance on my account, immediately called the formal business line for WakeMed Health & Hospitals. They confirmed that there is a $0.00 balance on my account, that nothing appears to have gone out to collections or anything like that. They advised that I DISREGARD this phone call and any future phone calls from this number.

It's legit them (I just called Wake Hospital) but here's the annoying thing -- they aren't collections they're just "calling to remind you that you have a payment upcoming". I am current on my payment plans (never have been late) so why the heck do they need to keep bugging me to say "You have a payment due in 2 weeks". Very very poor customer service and business practice to me :( Yet one more reason to prefer other hospitals over them.

It is a scam call. I am paid up using insurance.

I got a call fro "Wake Med business office" asking me to call them at 866-295-8722. I will call the Wake Med number 919-350-8000 to check it out. I have been carefully tracking my expenses and insurance coverage and know I am up to date. I smell a rat!!!

Not SPAM. Wake Med business office. They want to get paid.
