They don't even have the right phone number they called my number trying to get in touch with my husband and only had his first name. He is not even referred to by his first name, all friends and family have always called him by his shortened nickname. So this person does not know my husband and says they have a complaint against him. I guess I just don't understand this scam. What kind of information could they try to collect that would benefit them in any way? All kinds of new scams out there, I refuse to call them back and I have blocked the number from my phone
They called my phone several times and even left a voice message saying there is a complaint filed against my social, and they are going to issue enforcement in the county I'm from? They also gave me a case number. I tried to call the 919 number back and it says no service. I tried to ball the 1-888 number that they left me, and no answer. Its sounds like they are trying to sound intimidating. I have yet to figure out why they actually called me.
Got a call from this number. She said they are calling because of a complaint from I have no idea. She gave me a phone number and a case number to call them back. But I'm not calling them back. If its from a court, they will send you a letter in the mail not call you.
they called claiming an officer was on his way to my house to serve me court documents and gave me a case number plus a phone number to call (8773700001) to call in to my county clerk of courts... yeah, that case number didnt exist on the county website. so I try to call this 919 number back... you cant, it says not in service! so I called the 877 number and they said they were a debt collection agency attempting to litigate. Here's the M.Night Twist, I've never used that bank (to tell the truth I never verified my SSN when they asked me to at the beginning of the call either because of how sketchy all of this was)
