The pre-recorded message said that my credit card rate could be reduced to one in the 6% range. It requested that if I were interested, that I press the number 1. I pressed the number 1 so I could request to be taken off the call list. The person answering the call asked if I was calling about the rate reduction. I asked what company he worked for and how they got my number. He immediately ended the call. No company info was provided to me. I called the phone number on my caller ID and it didn't provide any name and the voicemail box was full so I could not leave a message. No other information was provided to me.

Got a call on my personal then work cell from this company (blind call, probably didn't even know my name). When I hit 1 and asked a live person to please remove me, they hung up before I could finish. Then they called my office manager's cell as part of this scam (or I assume it's a scam).

I turned them into the FTC and state AG.

I got the same message and I found it on my caller Id this is happening to me every month and I don't have a card at all.
If I get a new number they will still call me and I blame VERIZON for this by giving my number out to them.

Lower interest rate: stated it was my "last notice" to lower my interest rate. I know that my bank did not make this call, because I bank locally and I have already contacted them in the past I get these calls ALL THE TIME!!!

We can lower your interest rate. Made it sound like it was important. The say this is about your credit card. I have had this same message and hangup many times. I have requested to but put on the do not call list.

They say they can lower your credit card interest rate and to hurry because this is for a limited time and this is my final call, but I have been receiving these calls for several months. The recording used to say to press two to be removed from their list but I have not heard that message for quite a while.

Lower Interest Rates than any Visa or Mastercharge that I have. They wanted the expiration date and type of card then asked for all 16 digits. "They" - in the background during the call I could hear other operators on the phone apparently with the same type of promotion.
