“Dan Carter” called claiming to be with the “National Police Support Fund” - he was extremely insistent that I make a donation without explaining to me how it is done. He wanted me to commit to an amount of money and when I had a question he became quickly annoyed. His answer didn’t make any sense to the question I asked and he became extremely impatient telling me to “just chose any amount I could commit” to giving. His rude manner put me off and I think he could tell because after that he just hung up on me. I THINK THIS IS A SCAM, and sadly, they are hurting donations to the very people that I WOULD AND HAVE legitimately donated to in the past: our police and first responders! (And if it’s not a scam - Dan blew a donation!)
