I've been called about 5 times over the last 2 weeks and have
told Comcast to put me on their do not call list but it has been
ignored since I continue to get calls from them.

This is a scam. After only two questions regarding what he thought my account number and how much I'm currently paying I got him to admit he isn't actually part of COMCAST.

They keep calling, but don't leave a message. The last time I was able to talk to someone they wanted my account number, etc. I told them that if they really were from Comcast then they would already know that information and I wasn't giving it to them. Then I hung up on them.

INSTRUCTIONS TO STOP THE CALLS

- The company is called "American Support".
- It is a telemarketing company that calls on behalf of Comcast.
- It maintains a do-not-call list that you can join. The sure-bet way is to call the number back and follow the automated audio instructions.

They called me tonight (July 8, 2015), and I figured this out right after. Hope this helps you out.

I called the number back, it is a company calling on behalf of Comcast to offer your their "specials." They give you the option to put your number on the Do Not Call list, so I did that. Now if they call me back I am going to freak out.

They call me every day but never speak.
Makes me want to hit them like a freak.
Gonna throw they equipment in the creek.
Going to satellite because it's so much cheepah.
And they don't have them movies that make me feel like a creepah.

Blasted Comcast. You'd think that for as much as I pay for their service they could leave me the heck alone. The telemarketing tactics they use are worse than their satellite competitors.

If you call the number back it goes to an automated menu that gives you the option to request placement on Comcast's do-not-call list.

I get calls constantly from this number. I never answer because you never know if it's a scam. I get calls ranging from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Just got one at 11:00 AM. Never leaves a message.
